This is the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. The town of Bedford had the greatest number of loses during the invasion of Normandy which is why the memorial is here.

This is the old Norfolk and Western Train Station in Roanoke, Virginia. It now houses the city visitor center and the O. Winston Link Museum. When this train station was decommissioned, there was no more passenger rail service to Roanoke, but an Amtrak station opened nearby in October of 2017 bringing passenger service back to the city.
