I asked the Lord one day,
what from me do You desire
He said my love for Him
was what He required.

Then my love for others,
would reflect His very own
then His love to everyone
will be seen and known.

I asked the Lord one day,
what from me do You need
He said my will to Him
I would need to heed.

Then my love for Him,
others would be able to see
then His image would shine
from the inside out of me.

I asked the Lord one day,
what from me do you desire
He said to use His love . . .
to encourage and inspire!
