When we’re on a mountain,
our egos musn’t get inflated
otherwise when in the valley . . .
our hopes will get deflated.

For through life’s highs,
it’s easy to be on the top
but, when a low hits us . . .
into depression we will flop.

When things are going well,
we can be so joyful . . .
but, when troubles come
our hearts become fearful.

For through happy times,
it’s easy to be up
but, when doubt hits us . . .
we go down in the dump.

Mountain tops are great,
there’s such a glorious view
but, don’t let the valleys . . .
dismay or frighten you!
