I did not ask for this,
it’s nothing I want . . .
but, God for His reasons
this hardship He brought.

I Know it’s up to me,
to learn from it and grow
but, I’m going to need Him
the way out of this to show.

I didn’t see this coming,
it blind sided me . . .
but, God knew it would
open my eyes to see.

See what He wanted,
for me to find and detect
so that Him and I
could better connect.

I did not ask for this,
but, I am glad it’s here
for God it’s bring me . . .
to You closer and near!
