My ears are attentive,
I listen until I hear
God’s words of wisdom
come in loud and clear.

My mind is intent,
to learn and to know
how tomorrow I’ll reap
what today I sow.

My heart I incline,
to take it all in
so I may be able
to conquer all sin.

My soul I guard,
I make it aware
of satan’s deceiving
traps and snares.

My ears and my mind,
are on the ready . . .
to keep my heart and soul
faithfully steady!
