I live with fear,
out of respect
for the word of God
I do not reject.

I hold the truth,
close to my breast
so in righteousness
my soul can rest.

I live boldly,
wisdom I seek
for the more I know
the less I am weak.

I look to God,
in times trying
knowing my strength
He’ll be supplying.

I live with fear,
it makes me brave
for the word of God . . .
shows me how to behave!
