Some people needlessly worry,
they perspire and fret
for their past sins . . .
they still stew and sweat.

They wonder if they are,
really saved at all
even after they received
salvation’s saving call.

Some people need to have,
assurance every day
that the debt for their sins
Jesus willingly died to pay.

They are not yet convinced,
though they have repented
that for their past sins . . .
they needn’t be tormented.

Some people needlessly worry,
when they should embrace
investing all their faith . . .
into Jesus’ saving grace!
