When we treasure more,
things that are worldly . . .
we will look upon them
ever so warm and fondly.

For they brings to us,
such joy and delight
that we don’t notice
how they dim the Light.

When earthly treasures,
our hearts takeover . . .
our pride and egos
we often will fall over.

For we cannot see,
past their seduction
to notice our own
spiritual corruption.

When we treasure,
things of the world more . . .
the fact that they’ll erode
we must not ignore!
