Everywhere I look,
there’s a storm brewing
reminding me just why
my faith needs renewing.

For in the whirlwinds,
life so often brings . . .
I need to be reminded
God controls all things.

Everywhere I turn,
a tempest is being forecast
reminding me just why
I need to hold on fast.

For in the thunder’s roar,
comes fear and dismay
and so I remind myself
I need not be afraid.

Everywhere I look,
there is a storm gusting
reminding me on Jesus . . .
I need to keep trusting!
