Whenever I need,
God to inspire . . .
when my Spirit needs
to be lifted higher.

I open up my Bible,
and I begin to read
just why His Word
everyday I need.

Whenever my faith,
needs to be corrected
the Scriptures help me
to get redirected.

For they give to me,
precise instructions
how to overcome
worldly seductions.

Whenever I need,
some good old reproof
God’s Word stops me from
becoming too aloof!
