Whilst in Sitges the sun was pleasantly warm enough to make a lunchtime swim feel inviting. I opted to take my first dip in a beautiful bay and was so glad that I had taken the plunge! Swimming outside in Autumn always feels like one of nature’s luxuries and it was just brilliant to play in the waves and be at one with the ocean!

Bay-thing

I took the chance to take a dip within the empty bay

Encouraged by the warming glints of late September rays

The water fresh as I enmeshed myself with nature’s blessing

I bathed with childlike happiness my spirit effervescing

And as I scanned the Sitges coast this thought returned to me;

The moments that I love the most – spontaneous and free

Jump in, appreciate the trip, reap pleasure from your day

I learned again on my fresh dip within the empty bay
