Oh, what a gain,
it’s going to be
when my Savior
I finally see.

Though I may lose,
on earth my standing
one day in heaven
I will be landing.

Oh, what a joy,
it’s going to be
when my Father
I’ll at last see.

Though in the world,
I have been hated
God’s love for me
has never abated.

Oh, what a gain,
for me it will be
if living like Christ
means heaven I’ll see!
