As a highly sensitive being I feel and sense energy in heightened ways. This makes for quite a dramatic experience at times but also allows me to live life in colour. I am grateful for my ability to feel so much and certainly would not want to change this in any way even if it does take a little self-management!

I’m made of open, porous skin

Can’t sew it up, so much comes in!

This gift brings colours to my day

Would not have it another way

At times it is a lot to sense

The energy that circumvents

Intense for sure but rich and full

Life touches me, it’s wonderful !

Dramatic though perhaps it seems

Throughout my body impulse streams

Bring information quite profound

I feel each tiny little sound

We sensitives, it’s how we’re made

I would not ever this trait trade
