Troubled believer,
oh, anxious one . . .
fear and apprehension
has you on the run.
Worried about the past,
unsure of the future
the insecurities of life
you still feed and nurture.
Burdened believer,
oh, fretful one . . .
the impacts of your choices
cannot be undone.
Frustrations about today,
not sure the way to go
from your past decisions
still being tossed to and fro.
Troubled believer,
take your burdens to the cross
then in the pit of regret . . .
you will not get lost!

He will turn again,
he will have compassion
upon us; he will subdue our
iniquities; and thou wilt cast
all their sins into
the depths of the sea.
Remember ye not the former things,
neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing;
now it shall spring forth;
