Words of truth,
we need to use
not the ones
that abuse.

For the tongue,
speaks from the soul
and we must be
of it in control.

Words timely,
seasoned with grace
will help others
their doubts to face.

For the mouth,
can help uplift
those whose faith
has gone adrift.

Words edifying,
we need to speak
not ones to God
that stink and reek!
