My hope doesn’t disappoint,
let me down ~ never
my hope is a hope
nothing can sever.

For my hope is secure,
in Jesus its anchored
my hope cannot be
by anything hampered.

My hope doesn’t erode,
weaken on me ~ no way
nothing from my hope
can cause me to sway.

For my hope is grounded,
on Jesus my Rock
off of its foundation
I cannot be knocked.

My hope doesn’t disappoint,
let me down, never . . .
for my hope is in Jesus
and will last forever!
