Soaking Up All Of God’s Peace ~

CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

Sometimes I want to stand,
on top of the highest hill
raise my hands to the Lord
tell Him how I really feel.

I want to shout my love out,
hear His echo back at me
I want to close my eyes tight
hoping His glory I might see.

Sometimes I want to sit,
on the tallest mountain top
sing my praises to the Lord
and never let them stop.

I want to shower on Him,
my heartfelt gratitude
I want Him to see in me
for Him a thankful attitude.

Sometimes I just want to stand,
soak up all of God’s peace . . .
I want to raise my hands up high
and my praise to Him release!

Psalm 71:8

Let my mouth be filled
with thy praise and with
thy honour all the day.
