I’ve been on a road trip,
for many of years . . .
some days filled with joy
others soaked in tears.

It hasn’t been easy ride,
God knows its been hard
but His love left me . . .
by the pain unscarred.

At times it was a struggle,
others were but a breeze
and often I found myself
down on both my knees.

I know it is not over,
until God says so . .
so I’m going to endure
till it’s time for me to go.

I’ve been on a road trip,
filled with up and downs
but, I won’t give up . . .
until I get my life’s crown!
