I want to be for Jesus,
a shinning example
I want His life in mine
to glowingly resemble.

So I will need to work on,
having true humility
so that I can radiate
His loving tranquility.

I want to be for Jesus,
a vivid, promising light
I want His peace in me
to beam ever bright.

So I will need to work out,
my own salvation
so I can emit for Him
my joy and elation.

I want to be for Jesus,
what He is to me . . .
I want His love to be
all that people see!
