In Solitude ~

CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

Sometimes in solitude,
I sit quietly . . .
and open up my heart
to God silently.

As I clear my mind,
of all my earthly care
I offer up to Him
my indebted prayer.

I let my thoughts flow,
with my thankfulness
to show Him the depth
of my gratefulness.

I tell Him I’m excited,
for the things I can’t see
how they compel me . . .
closer to Him to be.

Sometimes in silence,
with God I sit alone . . .
so He can make Himself
to me even deeper known!

1 Corinthians 2:10

But God hath revealed them
unto us by his Spirit: for the
Spirit searcheth all things, yea,
the deep things of God.
