Silent Summer

Rum and Robots

numbers dance in a blue sunset
disappearing with the smell of you
distance between your front teeth
mine the same, a photograph of us
our tears severing the stem of trust

hearts dancing, our hide and seek
laughing in between seaweed gems
summers turning to dots on the wall
singing with bubbles, silence speaks
my love now, stem cut, gone for weeks
