Memorial Day is that day of the year that is set aside to remember those in the military who lost their lives while fighting in battle. In the United States of America, it is observed on the last Monday in May. (The official day is May 30^th.) Although it is becoming more and more a forgotten day, it is a significant day as if these soldiers did not fight the wars, millions of innocent lives would be lost. These servicemen and women gave their lives so that many can live theirs.
