I want my faith to grow,
like a river tree . . .
so my life will reflect
Lord, my love for Thee.

I want my hope to tap,
into the blood of life
so I will not wither . . .
underneath all the strife.

I want my assurance,
to always represent
my hope and belief
in the new covenant.

I want my trust to form,
and be firmly grounded
so my fruit will be . . .
abundant and well-rounded.

I want my faith to grow,
like a tree by the river
always giving thanks . .
