I continue to feel so grateful to be connected to my iguana tribe, a group of heart-centred leaders with whom I went through a life changing process a few years ago. They really are my second family and remind me on a daily basis of the power of love and solidarity. Today’s poem is a tribute to my tribe and to the sentiment of being in this together.

Worldwide Tribe

Being part of something good creates so much belonging

Feeling seen and understood – we all deep down are longing

When we unite, the future’s bright, so let us pull together

Alone we must not always fight, may we as one endeavour

Being part of something good gives meaning and brings purpose

The sister and the brotherhood, not one of us is surplus

Let’s join our hearts today and start to spread the love and healing
