Yesterday was one of those gorgeous, crisp, sunny winter days that fill the soul with hope. As I went for one of my walks I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the blessings of good weather and wrote a little poem, as I do, on my return.
Bountiful
To feel impromptu winter sun aglow upon my cheeks
Invites my thinking to let go, allows my soul to speak
The hopeful hue of seaside-blue that paints the sky with lightness
Allows my system to renew and tap into its rightness
Be not enticed by your device, inhale the season’s presents
Pure paradise, each precious slice of nature’s subtle essence
It’s when we step outside we grow into what we most seek
approves impromptu winter sun aglow upon my cheeks
Lovely
