Expansive Nature

Peacock Poetry

When I am out in nature I am at my most present and awake. I notice all of the little details and appreciate the life surrounding me. Honouring my need to commune with the natural world around me is a sacred act. It helps me to expand and gain new awareness. Where is your go-to place when you want to connect to your inner world?

Nature Bulletin

Two squirrels raced between the trees

My ears caught by their rustling

It’s after mindful jogs like these

That nature calms the bustling

Upon wood chip, my eyes did skip

and spied a robin’s presence

Whenever my mood starts to dip

They bring me back to essence

When others are all on the go

To be alone is freeing

I shan’t forgot my mornings slow

My writing time, my being

It’s simpler than we think to please

our souls, no need for hustling
