When we are really triggered by someone most often the time we are simply seeing an aspect of ourselves which we cannot be with. This isn’t always comfortable and our tendency is to blame the person for their behaviour instead of realising that this mood/state also lives in us. When we learn to integrate and accept all of our experiences, we are no longer as triggered by what we see in others.
The parts of others I reject
are shadows of myself
I must accept what they reflect not blame on someone else
If I can be with what I see, my soul can keep evolving
Acceptance is what sets us free, denial keeps pain revolving
What irritates? What most frustrates?

Befriend it now, don’t close the gate
Resistance makes things bigger
Although perhaps you don’t expect with them to be agreeing
