Embracing life with open arms is something that my Dad taught me. Making the most of what we have and savouring our present experience is what brings joy and satisfaction. This morning my body is telling me to slow down and walk in nature rather than run. Perhaps it wants me to take in more. And so I shall!
Present-ing
Life is precious
Life is short
You must step out
You must cavort
The bees will buzz
The flowers bloom
Do not spend your
whole life on Zoom
Float with the clouds
Dance with the breeze
Each breath a moment
We can seize
The years roll by
The cars rush past
We are not all
the shadows cast
Life is fragile
Life is now
Say yes although
you don’t know how
Catch others, let
yourself be caught
Life is precious
Life is short
