Sinners in desperate need,
of salvation but they won’t heed
instead they follow their own folly
deprived and wicked, yet so jolly.

Sinners in dire straights,
can’t see their own corrupt traits
instead they party and carouse
to all things evil they make their vows.

Sinners on dangerous ground,
don’t want to turn their lives around
instead they play on satan’s turf
as on the waves of sin they surf.

Sinners in hopeless states,
can’t see damnation in their fates
instead they march to satan’s tune
not seeing their own eternal doom.

Sinners in desperate need,
if God’s salvation plan would heed
they would find rest and peace
and all evil would come to cease!
