I don’t want to text you,
I want us to socialize
I want to look into . . .
your big beautiful eyes.

I want to actually see you,
not just the words on a page
I want us to get together
so in faith we can engage.

I don’t want to message you,
I want to give you a big kiss
I want to see you in person
for your expressions I do miss.

I want to give you a big hug,
not that of an emoji pasted
I want to be with you and Jesus
so we can be re-acquainted.

I don’t what to tweet you,
text or message you . . .
I want to see you face-to-face
like us old-timers use to do!
