Hello Jesus I need to talk,
I need an ear to hear
how the root of evil
in today’s world I fear.

I need to know from You,
all is in Your control
I need to have Your peace
resting here in my soul.

Hello Jesus I need to ask,
how in this world I’m to cope
when there are so many
who haven’t a drop of hope.

I need to understand,
just what it will take
to help save those
from their eternal fate.

Hello Jesus I need to talk,
I need You to tell me
why in today’s world
so much evil I now see!
