A purified heart,
is a washed one
forgiven by God
cleansed by His Son.

It’s a penitent heart,
one once crimson
now as white as snow
with grace it glistens.

A purified heart,
is one renewed within
obedient to living
a life without sin.

It’s a anointed heart,
filled with the Spirit
one where pasts lusts
doesn’t go back to visit.

A purified heart,
is a heart blessed . . .
for its sins to God
it has confessed!
