Working Out My Salvation ~

Lord, may I continue,
to act on and work out
my salvation until . . .
I’ve not one ounce of doubt.

No doubt You won’t do,
in my life Your good pleasure
so I may discover
Your mercy is without measure.

Lord may I remain,
in Your Word submersed
until I’m completely
schooled and well versed.

Versed in Your love and grace,
the daily care for my soul
so that Your will for my life
will keep me in control.

Lord, may I with holy fear,
use care and due diligence
to work out my salvation . . .
with a trembling willingness!
