To some the Word of God,
is nothing but rubbish
they think it is ludicrous
and consider it foolish.

But we who have ears,
think it is full of power
for we understand satan
is out to devour.

To some Jesus was a man,
but, just a carpenter
they don’t see the cross
as a harbinger.

But, we who have eyes,
see the cross as a signal
for we know in His death
we now have life eternal.

To some the Word of God,
is nothing but useless tripe . . .
but, we who have ears and eyes
know we’re healed by each stripe!
