I write with rhythm,
I write in rhyme . . .
so to express my faith
as mountain’s I climb.

I open my mind,
to the Spirit’s leading
so to share with others
my uphill pleading’s.

I write with timing,
I write with a beat
so to help others
to stay on their feet.

I open my heart,
let the words flow
until I’m once again
in the valley below.

I write in rhyme,
I write out a poem
to encourage others
from God not to roam!
