Earlier on this week there was a tangible sense of Autumn in the air and I have to say I rather liked it! There is something clear yet gentle about the autumn that I really appreciate and I felt inspired to write. How do you experience the turning of the seasons dear readers?

Emerging Autumn

The early sun is dazzling

My eyes with light diffused

I’m done with summer’s frazzling

Heat leaves my heart confused

The freshness leaks into the dawn

I’m born into new being

and wander through dry fields of corn

The bright and coolness freeing

There’s readiness within the air

New normal is emerging

A steadiness is needed there

Some letting go and purging

I welcome in all Autumn states

We get the life we choose

The early sun illuminates

My eyes with light diffused
