Peacock Poetry

It was great fun getting out and about in Switzerland last week and exploring a country that we both call home. On Thursday we decided to venture down to a laid back lakeside town called Murten which know and love. It was a little grey on the way down but we both enjoyed the chance to unwind on the train, Android catching up on his favourite podcasts and me writing poetry (quelle surprise!). After a relaxing stroll by the water we rocked up at a local Italian and delved into a deliciously colourful Bruschetta starter followed by some tasty pasta and a good time was had by all!

On the Train to Murten

It’s Murten time, we’re on our way

Another lake walk’s calling

Outside the sky’s a pencil gray

The raindrops close to falling

We both recline, enjoy the time

Admire the passing greenery
