Amazing Grazing

Peacock Poetry

As I rambled happily past the cows in today’s photo I felt a familiar sense of contentment. Each time that I leave the house and get into nature a sort of personal revival takes place! I began thinking about how important walking is to me and the cows just had to crop up in my words of course!

Roaming Device

Whatever happens I will roam

I’ll roam until the cows come home

It’s humbling to walk life’s path

Us human folk don’t know the half

I’ll wander, childlike, unrehearsed

Complacency is such a curse

and bubble forth just like the brook

Whose wisdom source could write a book

Whatever happens I will stroll

With mindfulness my only goal

For this is when I’m most alive

Creative shoots begin to thrive

Bring on the forks, the curves, the stones

I’ll roam until the cows come home
