Sexy Spring

Peacock Poetry

My morning walks make me incredibly happy and all the more so when the Spring is blooming. There is something so spectacularly sensual about the Spring and I fall in love with it all over again every year. Spring is my greatest muse and fills me with creativity!

Today’s poem pays respect to this tantalising season and its floral flirtation! How does the Spring affect you?

Springasault

You reach out your white budded charms

Towards the higher reason

I’m putty in sweet blossomed palms

A slave unto this season

I’ve lost all track of things I lack

Lost in your linen longings

What good is there in looking back?

Stay rooted in belonging

Each dainty flip of dairy whip

Knows life’s there for the seizing

My April soul unfurls and flips

Towards my higher reason
