The Wind of The Spirit ~

CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

The wind of God’s Spirit,
is relentlessly active . . .
where it chooses to blow
no one can keep track of.

It can’t be viewed by the eye,
only detected by the ear
but you can feel its power
whenever it comes near.

The wind of God’s Spirit,
is like a breeze whispering
or it can be like a gust
as it swiftly comes rushing.

It’s an ongoing indwelling,
a constant infilling
of God’s holy power
a continuous refilling.

The mighty wind of God,
isn’t seen but it’s heard . . .
and those born of the Spirit
know when it’s being stirred!

John 3:8

The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth: so is every one
that is born of the Spirit.
