Bubble Trouble

Peacock Poetry

During the Christmas break, Andy’s family came over to stay and we decide to venture into Basel for a browse. In the middle of the Münsterplatz a man was entertaining the crowds by blowing gigantic bubbles. We wiled away a good half an hour by attempting to catch these bubbles and a good time was had by all!

Bubble Magic

Forget the gimmicks and the gadgets

I’m all about the bubble magic

There’s nothing better than the chase

Of soapy ovals near one’s face!

An antidote to cold, grey days

Our inner child so loves to play

For though we’re all grown up outside

The call for fun won’t be denied

Prismatic light’s not just for girls

Let’s twist and twirl and catch those pearls

It brings me joy each time I catch it

I’m all about the bubble magic
