Glowing and Flowing

Peacock Poetry

Today’s poem was written after a chilled meditation session by the sea in Sardinia. I cannot remember the exact guided track that I was following but I know that it left me feeling glowing and grateful and that at the end, as reflected in the poem, it felt like I was merging with both the real and imagined scenery.

Sea Glow

There’s a candle at sea

It’s as warm as can be

Sheds a light that cascades with the wave

Glowing candle at sea

Solar plexus is freed

And the peace deep within here is made

The sunset is pink with flamingo-fine chinks

And the water resides over flame

My being’s succinct, I’m a gentle, wild lynx

Feel the sense of two sides being tamed

There’s a candle at sea

It’s as calm as can be

Who’d have seen so much still in the brave?
