Summer Snow

Peacock Poetry

Bountiful Mountains

Setting off to snow capped peaks

The altitude is rising

It’s mountain coolness that we seek

Fresh views on the horizon

Ten years have passed, yet still we cast

our eyes on brand new vistas

A tiny land whose scope is vast

My past life I don’t miss her

For alpine beauty need not speak

Feel meek beneath its sizing

Setting off to snow capped peaks

The altitude is rising
