In God’s Hands ~

CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

In God’s hands,
I clearly fit
by His own fingers
my soul He did knit.

For in the womb,
they formed me
just like the pod
of a pea.

In God’s hands
I want to stay
and be to Him
a piece of clay.

For He molded,
my heart in them
just like the bud
on top of a stem.

In God’s hands,
I perfectly fit
for by them He put
His own spirit!

Isaiah 64:8

But now, O Lord, thou art our father;
we are the clay, and thou our potter;
and we all are the work of thy hand.

John 1:3

All things were made by him;
and without him was not any
thing made that was made.

Jeremiah 1:5a

Before I formed thee
in the belly I knew thee
