Sipping on Sunshine

Peacock Poetry

Yesterday was quite possibly the victorious end to a fabulous flirtatious spell of February sunshine and what a gorgeous day it was! The Rhine was looking particularly stunning and after a hard day’s work a cheeky al fresco beer was just what the doctor ordered! I love the aliveness in the air at the moment and this is quite obvious from the following write!

Flamboyant February

I bathe beneath the fecund flames of sun

Quite stunned by stillness of the honeyed kind

The cooing birds above me are at one

It’s funny how the light restores the mind

And Carpe Dieum sings its sensual hum

The kiss of Spring is flirting unabashed

It’s only manmade lies that are humdrum

And glum are those who don’t see life’s panache
