The Light of My Life ~

CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

Today I am singing,
though outside it is gray
I can still see the Light . . .
though the sun’s tucked away.

For the Light that shines in me,
makes my heart radiate
though there maybe clouds
my joy they can’t alienate.

Jesus is that Light,
the song of my salvation
and I don’t need the sun
to sing out my elation.

For the Light of Jesus,
lights up both night and day
nothing stops it from shinning
on the Truth, Life and Way.

Today I am singing,
though outside it is dreary
the Light of my life. . .
is all I need to be cheery!

John 8:12

“Then spake Jesus again unto them,
saying, I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk
in darkness, but shall have the
light of life.”
