When At A Crossroad ~

CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

Some paths we are on,
are rugged and rough
some are easier . . .
and on us not so tough.

But, regardless of the path,
that God has us on
we must still be willing
to be Spirit drawn.

Some paths we are on,
are demanding and long
some are breeze . . .
filled with laughter and song.

But, when at a crossroad,
the path we choose to take
could be our biggest blessing
or our greatest mistake.

For, when we realize,
God’s paths are the best
that is when we will find . . .
our true peace and rest!

~~~~~~~
Jeremiah 6:16
“Thus saith the Lord,
Stand ye in the ways,
and see, and ask for
the old paths, where
is the good way, and
walk therein, and ye
shall find rest for
your souls.
But they said,
We will not walk therein.”
  1. Beautiful poem, John! This verse resonated with me:
    But, regardless of the path,
    that God has us on
    we must still be willing
    to be Spirit drawn.
    Thanks for sharing, and have a blessed day…
