My Blue Jacket


When I was a kid, I owned a blue jacket. It was gifted by my uncle on my 12th birthday. Being very close to my heart, I carried it everywhere. Silvery white stars on blue with collar of the same color. Every detail of it was appreciable. I loved my jacket. I wore it even in summer, sometimes. It felt extra warm but I was fine with it.

One day, my cousin Susan came home for vacations. She was twelve, too. I was wearing my jacket and looking at the mirror. I was kind of showing off too. She saw me wearing it. Being stubborn, she asked me for that jacket. I was upset and began to become furious. There was no way I was gonna give it to her. How could I?
