But Come Morning…by Carl Gooch

By the Mighty Mumford

But Come Morning
Lord your children are weary and tired
They long for Heaven’s golden shore
Where our sorrows will be far behind
And our pain and tears will be no more.
Morning will find me down by the creek
I’ll be resting under a mighty oak tree.
You watched over me through my night,
But come morning, your glory I’ll see.
This world mocks and calls us fools
Hear our plea Lord, how long.. How long
Yet Lord, we will fix our gaze on heaven
Your promise gives us strength to go on.
Morning will find me down by the creek
I’ll be resting under a mighty oak tree.
You watched over me through my night,
But come morning, your glory I’ll see.
