In the Wilderness

I arrive in the very small town of Montreal Falls, Ontario on a train.  I hear the sounds of the locomotive as my luggage is being offloaded.  The train continues on, and I am here all alone with nothing but the trees surrounding me.

I am hearing the sound, and it is a pleasant sound.  It is a sound that I love to hear.

It is the sound of silence.

The sound of silence allows you to think and to dream.  It allows you to imagine.  It allows you to explore in your mind.  It also allows you to do none of those things.

Enjoy the sound of silence.
